چکیده
According to India's National Biofuel Policy, only non-edible oilseed crops can be used for the biofuel feedstock. In this context, Camelina sativa is one such plant that fulfils all criteria defined by policies of India. So, present investigation was aimed examine C. seed oil capabilities as a biodiesel Oil deacidified via adsorption method applying Silica Gel an adsorbent. The highest efficacy obtained when 1:9 (Silica gel: oil) ratio applied and acid value reduced from 6.45 2.78 mg KOH/g. Furthermore, transesterified using methanol in 1:6 (oil: molar ratio) 0.8 % (w/w KOH catalyst at 70 ?C. produced analyzed terms fuel-specific parameters results were compared with American Society Testing Materials (ASTM) standards. very much satisfactory under limits specified ASTM revealed conversion 92.28 0.37 measured Iodine 152 gI2/100g indicated high unsaturation. Still, showed oxidation stability 6 h., which decent sulphur content also higher (24 ppm) than limit (15 ppm). Besides, like iodine limits.

Development of omega‐3‐rich Camelina sativa seed oil emulsions
Camelina sativa seed is an underutilized oil source rich in omega-3 fatty acids; however, camelina oil is not fully explored for food applications. Its high omega-3 content makes it susceptible to oxidation, which may limit food applications. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to investigate the potential of camelina seed oil to form physically and oxidatively stable emulsions as a...
متن کاملEffect of planting date on growth, seed yield and oil quality of camelina (Camelina sativa L. Crantz)
Camelina is one of the plants that it seed yield is highly dependent on planting date. This experiment was conducted using randomized complete blocks design with three replications in research farm of Fasa Branch, Islamic Azad University, Fasa, Iran in 2018 and 2019 cropping seasons. Planting dates at six levels; November 1, 11, 21 (autumn sowing) and February 20, March 1 and 11 (winter sowing)...

The Study of Biodiesel Characterization Obtained from CapparisSpinosa Oil Seed
Biodiesel is usually produced from food-grade vegetable oil using trans-esterification process. As an effective factor on the biodiesel characteristics of the biodiesel is the kind of feedstock which is used, so finding a proper feedstock for using initially has an important role for different places. So, in this research, disposal substances of Capparis Spinosa are used as a feedstock for prod...
متن کاملPreparation and Characterization of Biodiesel Produced from Recycled Canola Oil
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the feasibility of using recycled canola oil as raw material to produce ASTM standard biodiesel. Two-step reaction, acid-catalyzed esterification followed by alkali-catalyzed transesterification, was performed. The high level of free fatty acids ( FFA) in the recycled canola oil was reduced to less than 1% by acidcatalyzed esterification with 40/1 molar ...
